So early in the morning, before leaving Canadia, I stopped to get two of my all-time favorite candy bars:

Then I started my trip. It never starts out well unless dual Aero bars are involved.

Here is New York, which was brown and sad.

Here is Pennsylvania, which was slightly greener.

I came home and found a whole bunch of these around my house. Like, a whack. Possibly, a herd.

I ate a solitary meal, because that is what people who live alone do.

These cookies probably have crack in them. I get addicted to them extremely quickly. Plus, pink frosting.

These are Canadian sandwich cookies. They also probably have crack in them.

And because no post would be complete without animals, here:

Noise (in all her rotund glory):

And Blackie, my parents' new chow puppy:

We have a little British tea shop here in town, and they import various little treats and goodies....

Aero bars are the most cracktastic little candy bars in the universe - well, those and Violet Crumbles.

Ooooh, those are the bad types of caterpillers. Just wait a little while longer, you'll see them on everything. There will be stains on the sidewalk 'cause you can't walk without stepping on dozens of them. They make big white nests in the crooks of trees, and if enough of them decide to live there, that tree's a goner. I forget what they're called, but they turn into moths that are just as destructive. bah.

simply beautiful. I love the expression on noise's furry face. It's like "WHOA... a camera! purrrrrrr" I love the positionings of objects in your cookie and meal pics. Things are where one would expect them to be without having been 'pre-positioned'.

Some friends and I went on candy bar parade at World Market and I remembered that you posted about those candy bars, so when I saw them, I had to buy one. I thought it was weird at first and spent all day trying to think of what it reminds me of... I think it reminds me of a Girl Scout thin mint, dipped in milk. I like it :)

Usually any friends from the US find the Aero their favourite when I share some candy, some people I know here like it, because all the bubble pockets have them saying it's a diet chocolate bar... of course not true, but whatever makes them feel better eating it :)
